
In 2009, Container Yachts’ Far Harbour 39 hull and deck molds arrived from Europe in a shipping container. We began laminating the hull in January 2010 and by August 12th the third Container Yacht was launched.
The Deck/Hull Construction is cored with Vinyl Ester and critical areas solid FRP. The narrow beam and removable keel allows for easy and affordable shipping anywhere in the world. Live-aboard accommodations include a forward 6’ 7” double berth; Head: Counter, sink, cabinet, shower,WC; Main Cabin: Settees port and starboard, shelves port and starboard, drop-leaf table; Galley: three-burner propane stove with oven, refrigerator, freezer, deep sink, two port and one starboard counter, storage lockers and drawers and Espar heater; Pilot House: Bench pilot seat, Nav table, electronics computer and autopilot control, hanging locker, shelves, door and steps to cockpit; Cockpit: Wheel steering, Furuno electronics w/AIS, port and starboard 6' benches, port (2) and starboard hatches accessing large lazarettes (2), winches mounted on the coamings.
