Max Johanson

General Manager Max began his career at Johanson Boatworks when he was 14 years old as a charter dock assistant. He grew up cruising and working on boats of all sizes through his family of boaters and the exposure he had working each summer in the charter division of the yard. The marine industry was a natural fit for him and after college he took on a full time position at JBW. Constantly learning and training in all aspects of boat repair and maintenance he grew from rigger and charter manager to become a key employee with a wide base of knowledge. He broadened his base becoming a certified NMEA2000 and MEI installer and is the go to person for any type of electronic installation. In 2016 he completed his American Boat Builders and Repairers Association: Certified Marine Service Manager course and was subsequently certified as a marine service manager.
